About

Our mission is to design beautiful products that tread lightly on the planet and to be a business driven through integrity that positively impacts people and community.

(MAKERS)

After a long search to find the right supplier, one which shared our core values, we are proud to be partnered with a responsible and ethical supplier. We have deliberately chosen a small family-run factory in South East Asia which has been operating since 1970. In 2015 they received the G-Upcycle seal of approval at G-Gold Level from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment which guarantees their quality and ensures approval for exports around the world.

Each SUNNUP mat is woven by skilled artisans on a loom. The result is a tight knit weave that is durable, water resistant and designed for daily use. Something that if cared for correctly will last for seasons to come.

Each SUNNUP mat is designed in New Zealand.

(ECOLOGI INITIATIVE)

For every mat purchased we are planting a tree thanks to the Ecologi Environmental Organisation.

Ecologi are B-Corp certified and work within the Carbon Avoidance and Reforestation sectors. They support a broad range of projects that are able to evidence that they are reducing or avoiding greenhouse gas emissions. They also work with a range of amazing reforestation partners, who, with our support, are growing millions of trees per month around the world. You can find out more about Ecologi and the amazing work they are doing here or view the projects we've helped fund and our specific impact here.

(PACKAGING)

Our packaging is completely plastic-free from swing tags to mailing boxes.

Our mailing boxes are locally made from 100% FSC-certified cardboard in New Zealand and can be recycled after use. They are made in small runs and cut to size to minimise waste.

Our water-activated Reinforced Gummed Packing Tape from No Issue is made from 100% FSC-certified, recycled paper with fiberglass thread. It is printed using soy-based inks.
